About me

My name is Joanna Pike and since 2004, I have gained invaluable experience working not only within a busy NHS Out Patient Department, but also within Orthopaedic Consultant led clinics, A&E clinics and a GP surgery. This vast experience, along with my enthusiasm for professional development, has supported my continuous advancement in my knowledge and experience of a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and persistent conditions.  Continuing to spend time working within the NHS, maintains links with other experienced Physiotherapy Clinicians and Orthopaedic Consultants driving my passion to provide best evidence based physiotherapy to all.

The importance of using exercise to help manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions motivated the undertaking of my MSc in Exercise Science, expanding my knowledge beyond the traditional boundaries of physiotherapy. Additionally, as an active triathlete myself, I am able to empathise with the stresses and strains that training and competing at various distances in triathlon can entail.

So, if you have a musculoskeletal injury/condition that is troubling you, why don't you First Tri Physio!
